The Wisd6ms approach to exercise is based on the belief that the human body is a fully integrated system of systems. This explains why no single exercise program works for everyone. No matter what your labouring thoughts are, it's through understanding how the body's systems integrate, producing our moment to moment physical reality that we can recommend the most appropriate lifestyle modifications and provide an exercise program just for you. We use a multi-disciplinary approach which takes the following form: Initial Assessments (1- 2 hours) This involves a comprehensive assessment of: • Medical, injury and exercise history • Nutrition and lifestyle • Spinal integrity and postural alignment • Flexibility • Core stability, coordination and strength • Joint stability • Strength and balance Assessment Review We evaluate and discuss the results of your assessments and how they relate to achieving your goals. Program Design A program is then designed specifically for you taking into consideration the assessment results, time you have available, equipment and environment. Putting it all together We show you step by step how to perform the stretches and exercises in your program. You can then continue under the guidance of a C.H.E.K Practitioner, making appropriate and progressive changes to your program.
