Through understanding the 6 wisdoms and how to integrate them into your daily routine you can direct the positive flow of energy into your life to co-create and experience a state of Well Being within your Whole Being. | Thoughts – it is through our choice of thoughts, attitudes, beliefs and actions that we create our moment to moment physical and spiritual realties. This is why thoughts and attitudes are the first of the 6 wisdoms that need to be brought into balance in order to create lasting health from the inside out. Wisd6ms works with you to help you expand your awareness for the sponsoring thoughts that are no longer serving you. You'll learn solutions for creating new beliefs and attitudes that will support the lifestyle changes you need. Are your thoughts and attitudes sabotaging or supporting your goals? | Learn more about managing your thoughts and attitudes through the Wisd6ms seminars. back to top | Breath – have you ever watched a baby breathing. As it inhales its little belly expands and as it exhales it contracts. This inherent and natural form of breathing is called Diaphragmatic breathing which often after the age of seven becomes compromised. Poor diet, mental and emotional anxiety and stress (even as young as seven) can cause improper breathing. Breathing massages our organs, removes toxins and waste from the body, provides oxygen for cellular metabolism, relieves stress and anxiety, and moves our life force through the body. Your breath is a primary expression of your personal energy. 92% of the ills that take a patient to see their doctor are linked to a dysfunctional breathing pattern. Do you know how efficiently you're breathing? Are you experiencing headaches, lower back pain, neck or shoulder pain and poor posture due to a dysfunctional breathing pattern? | | Learn more about managing your breath through the Wisd6ms seminars. back to top | | Hydration – water's primary function is to maintain a stable environment in and around your cells enabling you to absorb nutrition and eliminate waste. The amount and the quality of water we drink each day is crucial for maintaining this environment. 10 billion biochemical reactions per second in the body are dependent on water - not sports drinks, diet sodas, milk or herbal teas! Some symptoms of dehydration are thirst, hunger, sugar cravings, headaches, fatigue, chronic pain, high blood pressure, digestive disturbances and fluid retention. Are you optimally hydrated? Do you even know how much water your body really needs? | Learn more about managing hydration through the Wisd6ms seminars. back to top | Nutrition – one man's food is another man's poison, which is why one type of diet may work for one person but have adverse effects on another. We are the most removed we've ever been from eating in the way Mother Nature intended. We are at the pinnacle of a nation-wide health crisis, with children as young as 5 suffering obesity and diabetes and yet we are more technologically and scenically advanced and sophisticated than ever before! So what's the answer? Getting back to grass routes …literally! Understanding and adopting the food choices, preparation and cooking methods our ancestors used that produced healthy, strong offspring is where we need to start and these principles are far simpler to follow than we think. | | Knowing what your metabolic type is will ensure your food choices are the most appropriate for your body's unique chemistry. There are three metabolic types…protein, carb and mixed. Do you know what your metabolic type is and how to qualify and quantify your food choices? | Learn more about managing nutrition through the Wisd6ms seminars. back to top | | Exercise – You are only as strong as your weakest link, so it's no coincidence that exercise is one of the last of the 6 wisdoms. For our bodies to respond and adapt to working out which is the expending of energy we must first meet the body's need of working in. Only when our inner world (our mind, organs and internal systems) is healthy and functional will the body positively adapt to exercise. Addressing your breathing and posture first before introducing dynamic movements or loading your body minimises the risk of injury and maximises your body's natural progression through the stages of flexibility, stability, strength and power. Do you understand your body's strengths and weakness and what type of exercises are right for you? | Learn more about managing exercise through the Wisd6ms seminars. back to top | Sleep – most of us live a life which is no longer in rhythm with Mother Nature. Our body clock is so out of sink and as a result our hormonal balance and adrenal glands are constantly under attack. Learning how to minimise the effects of cortisol (stress hormone) on the body and maximise DHEA (a steroid) and our body's growth, repair and reproductive hormones not only helps us get a good night's sleep but also helps reduce the infertility problems we see so much of in today's society. Are you in bed most nights by 10 pm ? Do you find it easy to fall asleep? Do you frequently wake up one or more times during the night? Do you wake up sweating? | | Learn more about managing your sleep through the Wisd6ms seminars. back to top | Where are YOU in relation to the 6 wisdoms?
